How To Get The Pawfect Picture With Your Pet

With their playful antics and unique personalities, pets can sometimes be a little camera-shy. But fear not! With my tips, you can turn your pet's photoshoot into a fun experience that showcases their charm and gets those tails wagging:

Familiar spaces

Choose a place where your pet feels most at ease. This could be their favourite spot in the house or a familiar outdoor area. It will help relax them and get some happy tails!

Positive reinforcement

Reward your pet with treats or toys to keep them engaged and happy during the photoshoot. This will also help get those sparkly, alert eyes that photograph beautifully.

Bring some toys

Include their favourite toys or blankets in the photo for a little extra comfort and familiarity. It can also add more character to your photos.

Minimise distractions

Find a calm environment where there won’t be wailing sirens, darting squirrels, or too many distractions. This will help you make sure your pet is calm and focused on you.

Pack refreshments

Your furry friend will certainly be filled with energy from all the excitement so be sure to bring some fresh, cool water and a bowl to keep them happy and hydrated!

Dress to impress

It may sound silly but matching your dog's lead and collar to your outfits can create a cohesive and subtly sweet look. It will also ensure that the lead doesn’t stand out too much in the photo as those strong diagonal lines can be quite eye-catching.

I love photographing your special pets and would love to meet them and you! Feel free to reach out with any questions.
