FACT 01

I was born in a tiny town called Vryburg in the middle of nowhere, South Africa. We moved to “The Big City” (Durban, ha!) when I was 5 years old, and that’s where I grew up.

FACT 02

I was the 4th generation at my small school, and I went there from the age of 5 until I finished at 18. It was the most nurturing and supportive environment. I now appreciate how lucky I was to have had that stability while growing up.

FACT 03

I met my husband, Simon, 3 weeks after arriving in Hong Kong in March 2010. For my first 3 years in the city, I was a nanny for the most wonderful family of 5 children. Photographing those children is what led me to start my photography business in 2012.

Although I only have 1 younger brother, I come from a huge family - I have 36 first cousins. I am incredibly close to my family and my parents usually visit Hong Kong at least 3 times a year.

FACT 05

I’m obsessed with good coffee. I literally go to bed excited about my first cup the following day!

My favourite TV series of all time is Sex & The City. I think I’ve re-watched it back to back about 5 times.

FACT 07

If I wasn’t a photographer, my dream was to be an actress or fashion designer.

One big thing on my bucket list is to go hot air ballooning at sunrise in Cappadocia, Turkey.

If I’m not shooting on a Saturday, you can usually find me at Zuma, enjoying their free-flowing champagne brunch!

My bespoke family sessions are fun, down-to-earth and designed around your lifestyle, so that you can be totally you. I’m a mom of three awesome (and sometimes exhausting) kiddos, so you can trust me when I say: there is absolutely nothing your children can do that will stress me out.

I walk a journey with you throughout the process: from getting to know your family before the shoot, to helping you decide how best to display your final photographs. (Which are printed on the finest materials according to the highest possible standards).

It’s a tailored service that I take great pride in, and it means that no two shoots are the same - just like no two families are the same.
